Air India Festive Flights: 166 New Services Announced for Patna to Meet Diwali, Chhath Rush

Gurugram: Air India and Air India Express have unveiled an extensive schedule of Air India festive flights, adding 166 weekly services to and from Patna to meet the sharp rise in travel demand during Diwali and Chhath Puja.

Air India festive flights to boost Patna connectivity

Between 15 October and 2 November 2025, Air India will operate a total of 114 additional flights, comprising:

  • 38 flights between Delhi and Patna
  • 38 flights between Mumbai and Patna
  • 38 flights between Bengaluru and Patna

Similarly, Air India Express will operate 52 additional flights from 22 October to 3 November 2025, including:

  • 26 flights between Delhi and Patna
  • 26 flights between Bengaluru and Patna

This expanded festive schedule complements Air India’s existing network of 42 weekly flights from Delhi and Mumbai to Patna, along with 14 weekly flights operated by Air India Express between Delhi, Bengaluru, and Patna.

Enhanced connectivity during Diwali and Chhath Puja

The increased Air India festive flights are set to make travel more seamless for passengers visiting family and friends in Bihar during the busy festive season.

The enhanced operations also provide convenient onward connections via Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru to other parts of India, as well as international destinations in the Middle East and Europe.

Tickets for the additional flights are now available on the official websites and mobile apps of Air India and Air India Express, through their 24×7 contact centres, city and airport ticketing offices, and via travel agents worldwide.
